I went to New Orleans for my birthday in January and we stayed at the Jung Hotel. The staff is amazing so friendly and helpful. Shout out to Dakota and Ms Monique. We had the Executive Queen Suite with the kitchenette It was perfect. Room is huge and kitchenette was a nice option. Beds are very comfortable and bathroom is large with a nice big shower. You need to ask for the robe and slippers, but what a nice option for a cozy morning. Kitchen has an electric stove and they provide you with a set of pans and a few dishes. There is a coffee place in the hotel (The Daily Grind) that serves bagels, croissants, muffins and scones and they have a bar in the main lobby that is open limited hours. The location is good, safe and just a 10-15 min walk into the French Qtr. The Canal Street car runs right outside the hotel entrance. It is a 10 min walk into the downtown / city center area where you can find lots of places to grab a meal. Highly recommend TMs bakery and Walk On. We always felt safe walking around. If we ever return to NOLA we would definitely stay here again!

I just got back home to Australia from staying at the Jung Hotel last week. The hotel was exceptional and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was bigger than I had imagined and the facilities were very good. The location is on Canal street near the Joy theatre. This was perfect as it was a short walk to all the main attractions and not in the way of the sketchy atmosphere of Bourbon Street. I had my wallet and phone stolen on Bourbon and the staff were so helpful and kind in assisting me, so that I could communicate home and call my banks etc to sort out my problems. Unfortunately this incident has scarred me a little from returning to New Orleans, but I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Excellent location. Very good value for money as was cheaper than the ES suite we had nearby on the previous week. Very clean. Like the face that we could launder and dry our clothes for free on the 2nd floor, plus reception gave us washing pods for free also. Brilliant staff, very clean rooms. Perfect for anyone going to see a concert at the Sanger Theatre over the road. Also 5 mins walk to see the old Cemeteries which is a boon if you like Ann Rice or other NO vampire books.. If we go again to nola we will now only stay here.

Judith

This is an old hotel refurbsished with modern everything and BIG rooms, lotsa space. There were minor quirks eg a loose shower tap but more than compensated for by the tiled floors, lotsa room, good bedding and chairs, office space (!) large safe takes a big laptop. So convenient to Canal St streetcars, close to French Quarter, safe feel of immediate neighbourhood (tick of approval from our wharf porter too)

Tim

Location is great! Rooms are big for the price paid and so comfortable! Staff are friendly and access to hotel/rooms is very easy.
